Dr. Steve Sampson D.M.D
Dr. Steve Sampson joined Smile Designers in August 2007 as an associate. He was then a partner for 10 years and is now the owner of Smile Designers, PC. He is originally from Missouri and graduated Magna Cum Laude from Pensacola Christian College in Florida. After college, he attended Temple University School of Dentistry in Philadelphia. He was fortunate to be able to have a US Army scholarship throughout dental school. After dental school, he then served as a Captain in the Army at Fort Benning, GA for four years. Dr. Sampson counted it a privilege to be able to treat soldiers from various units including the 75thRanger Regiment. He was also able to work extensively with specialists in all phases of dentistry.
Dr. Sampson and his wife have been married for 20 years. They have two sons who are 16 and 13. He enjoys spending time with his family, attending church, weight lifting, golfing, skiing, date nights with his wife, movies, and reading.
Dr. Sampson is an active member of the American Dental Association, Academy of General Dentistry, Colorado Dental Association, and the Boulder County Dental Society and…the United States Golf Association and the Colorado Golf Association. He loves giving patients something to smile about and developing ongoing relationships. He treats all patients as if they were part of his close family.

Dr. Kaitlyn Delancey D.D.S.
Dr. Kaitlyn Delancey joined our team in October of 2018. As your dentist, her goal is to maximize understanding of options for care and overall comfort. She understands that no two patients are alike, and will individualize your treatment plan to attain the smile you’ve always dreamed of. Kaitlyn received her dental education at the University of Detroit Mercy and attended over 85 hours of continuing education last year alone to ensure that her patients are receiving the most up to date standard of care. In her career, Dr. Delancey has developed a passion for cosmetic dentistry and the advancing technology that is paving the path of dentistry.
Dr. Delancey grew up in Northern Michigan. She admires the beauty and charm that comes from Michigan but her heart resided in the mountains of Colorado. With her cat Stanley in tow, she moved to Longmont in the summer of 2017 and fell in love with the community. Outside of the office, you will find her camping on new backpacking trails in the summer and skiing in the winter. She also enjoys traveling the US and seeing all of our wonderful National Parks.
Dr. Delancey is also a member of the American Dental Association and Colorado Dental Association. She believes it is important to stay involved in the community and to give back. Kaitlyn has participated in several outreach events providing free dentistry for those in need right here in Colorado. She has attended “We Serve” campaigns on mobile buses and the annual Colorado Mission of Mercy.
As the newest member of the team, Dr. Kaitlyn is excited to get to know the patient family here at Smile Designers. We love our patients, and we know she will too!
